Breaking Mental Health Stigma through Fiction

We hope you will join us in conversation with Cameron Kelly Rosenblum about her debut novel, The Stepping Off Place, a touching YA novel that explores friendship, grief, and mental health. A panel of local teen readers from The Depot will interview Ms. Rosenblum and Dr. Elizabeth Ortiz-Schwartz from Silver Hill Hospital to discuss the book and help smash the stigma around conversations on mental health. This conversation will be hosted by the Darien Library. Audience members can submit questions in advance to Teen Services Librarian, Mia Orobona morobona@darienlibrary.org or through the chat the night of the event.
